Katrin Kamerov

Katrin Kamerov holds a BA in French language and literature, has a teacher’s certificate from the University of Tartu, and a recent international TEFL certificate. She has also studied education, business management, and human resources in different further training courses at the University of Tartu, Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, and Estonian Business School. Her professional experience comprises such positions as a language teacher (French, English, Estonian), an HR manager, a corporate trainer, a self-employed adult trainer (management and HR), and most recently, a language teacher again (focusing on Business English). In 2006-2007 she taught English at Huang Huai University in the People’s Republic of China.

Ele Arder

Ele Arder is an Estonian language teacher close to finishing her Masters studies at Tallinn University. She has worked at Multilingua since her successful internship in the end of 2019 and has been dabbling with language teaching throughout her studies. She received the 2019 Teacher Stipend of the Estonian Mother Tongue Society and volunteered at the Estonian language week curated by the Estonian Institute. She is also responsible for the “Introduction to Estonian culture” course taught at Tallinn University BFM. Her interests include informal learning (environments) and digital learning platforms and how to integrate both into more formal classrooms and expectations. Her academic background and earlier teaching experience is in the field of philosophy and she values the metacognitive aspect in the process of learning languages. At the same time: language learning should be fun! The theme of her Master’s thesis is teaching pronunciation in Estonian.
